Wall Street’s AI relies on Big Tech’s rails—an untenable conflict—so banks need crypto’s decentralized AI infrastructure more than crypto needs them. The projected $130B AI spend by 2028 flows to Big Tech competitors, driving TradFi’s rush into “DeFi/tokenization” as survival, not hype. Stablecoin policy (e.g., GENIUS Act) nudges AI-agent payments through regulated finance—but the underlying rails are crypto-native. So-called “treasury strategies” are actually infrastructure plays (decentralized compute + settlement) disguised as speculation. The agent economy requires neutral, permissionless money; stablecoins’ growth builds the monetary base for agent-to-agent transactions. Expected 2025 crypto IPOs signal Wall Street seeking liquid access to infrastructure…

models connected to your Neo4j graph gain incredible flexibility: they can generate any Cypher queries through the Neo4j MCP Cypher server. This makes it possible to dynamically generate complex queries, explore database structure, and even chain multi-step agent workflows.  To generate meaningful queries, the LLM needs the graph schema as input: the node labels, relationship types, and properties that define the data model. With this context, the model can translate natural language into precise Cypher, discover connections, and chain together multi-hop reasoning. Image created by the author. For example, if it knows about (Person)-[:ACTED_IN]->(Movie) and (Person)-[:DIRECTED]->(Movie) patterns in the graph,…

Trading platform eToro has the cash to let it pursue merger and acquisition deals. “We’re looking to do more ambitious stuff involving acquisitions,” Ronen Assia, co-founder and executive director of the Israel-based company, said in an interview with Bloomberg News published Sunday (Sept. 7). This plan includes deals that would let eToro add more asset classes and locales to its platform, added Assia, interviewed at the Ambrosetti Forum in Cernobbio, Italy. The report said eToro had cash and cash equivalents of around $1.2 billion at the end of the first half of the year, with a cash position of $988…

It’s that time of the year again– time to renew the corporate cyber insurance policy, and as the most senior cyber security professional in the company you are asked to fill out the annual cyber security questionnaire. From the CIO or CISO’s chair it can seem like the different underwriting questions asked by each carrier have little to do with your reality of managing security risk at the company. Based on the regularity of the questions asked, you could be led to believe that MFA or PAM defined your cyber security posture, but you know your primary risk is not…

Cybersecurity firms Proofpoint, SpyCloud, Tanium, and Tenable have confirmed that information in their Salesforce instances was compromised as part of the recent Salesforce–Salesloft Drift attack. The campaign was publicly disclosed on August 26, when Google’s threat intelligence team reported that a threat actor tracked as UNC6395 exported large volumes of data using compromised OAuth tokens for the third-party AI chatbot Salesloft Drift. The attackers, Google said, exploited the Salesforce-Salesloft Drift integration to steal data pertaining to hundreds of organizations, targeting sensitive information such as AWS access keys, passwords, and Snowflake-related access tokens. Initially believed to only impact organizations that used…

iCloud Calendar invites are being abused to send callback phishing emails disguised as purchase notifications directly from Apple’s email servers, making them more likely to bypass spam filters to land in targets’ inboxes. Earlier this month, a reader shared an email with BleepingComputer that claimed to be a payment receipt for $599 charged against the recipient’s PayPal account. This email included a phone number if the recipient wanted to discuss the payment or make changes to it. “Hello Customer, Your PayPal account has been billed $599.00. We’re confirming receipt of your recent payment,” read the email. “If you wish to discuss or…

0. Introduction (SFC) are fascinating mathematical constructs with many practical applications in data science and data engineering. While they may sound abstract, they’re often hiding in plain sight—behind terms like Z-ordering or Liquid Clustering (used, for example, in platforms like Databricks). If you’ve worked with large-scale data platforms, chances are you’ve already used SFCs without realizing it. Despite its relevance in modern systems, information on this topic is often fragmented, making it difficult to bridge theory and practice. This article aims to bridge that gap, while focusing on the Hilbert curve. My goal is to offer a condensed and accessible overview…
