Ethereum has surged past the $3,000 mark for the first time since February, riding on the renewed momentum sweeping across the broader crypto market.According to CryptoSlate data, ETH’s price peaked at $3,033 during the last 24 hours amid a 9% increase. However, its value has slightly retraced to $2,991 as of press time. This milestone follows Bitcoin’s explosive rally to a new all-time high above $118,000, which has sparked renewed interest in risk-on digital assets. While this momentum has partially fueled Ethereum’s rise, the second-largest crypto is also backed by significant on-chain developments and investor activity. What is fuelling ETH’s price rise?On-chain data…
of this series on multimodal AI systems, we’ve moved from a broad overview into the technical details that drive the architecture. In the first article,“Beyond Model Stacking: The Architecture Principles That Make Multimodal AI Systems Work,” I laid the foundation by showing how layered, modular design helps break complex problems into manageable parts. In the second article, “Four AI Minds in Concert: A Deep Dive into Multimodal AI Fusion” I took a closer look at the algorithms behind the system, showing how four AI models work together seamlessly. If you haven’t read the previous articles yet, I’d recommend starting there…
U.S. CISA adds Citrix NetScaler ADC and Gateway flaw to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog Pierluigi Paganini July 11, 2025 U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) adds U.S. CISA adds Citrix NetScaler ADC and Gateway flaw to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) added Citrix NetScaler ADC and Gateway, tracked as CVE-2025-5777, to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog. The CVE-2025-5777 flaw, dubbed ‘CitrixBleed 2‘ (CVSS v4.0 Base Score of 9.3), can allow unauthenticated attackers to steal session cookies, similar to a past critical exploit. The vulnerability is an insufficient input validation issue leading to…
Four vulnerabilities dubbed PerfektBlue and affecting the BlueSDK Bluetooth stack from OpenSynergy can be exploited to achieve remote code execution and potentially allow access to critical elements in vehicles from multiple vendors, including Mercedes-Benz AG, Volkswagen, and Skoda. OpenSynergy confirmed the flaws last year in June and released patches to customers in September 2024 but many automakers have yet to push the corrective firmware updates. At least one major OEM learned only recently about the security risks. The security issues can be chained together into an exploit that researchers call a PerfektBlue attack and can be delivered over-the-air by an attacker, requiring “at most 1-click from…
Nozomi Networks Labs reported a 133% spike in cyberattacks linked to well-known Iranian threat groups during May and June, coinciding with the latest conflict involving Iran. The researchers observed that U.S. companies were the primary targets, with groups including MuddyWater, APT33, OilRig, CyberAv3ngers, FoxKitten, and Homeland Justice, focusing their attacks on transportation and manufacturing sectors. “Industrial and critical infrastructure organizations in the U.S. and abroad are urged to be vigilant and review their security posture,” the researchers detailed in a company blog post. “Nozomi Networks customers can review their Nozomi Threat Intelligence for any signs of activity from these groups.…
At times, the sprawling predictions may appear prescient, echoing real-world flashpoints: In Alvarado, Texas, an alleged coordinated ambush at a detention center this week drew ICE agents out with fireworks before gunfire erupted on July 4, leaving a police officer shot in the neck. (Nearly a dozen arrests have been made, at least 10 on charges of attempted murder.)In advance of protests, agencies increasingly rely on intelligence forecasting to identify groups seen as ideologically subversive or tactically unpredictable. Demonstrators labeled “transgressive” may be monitored, detained without charges, or met with force.Social movement scholars widely recognize the introduction of preemptive protest…
Bitwarden launched a new Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enabling secure integration between AI agents and credential workflows. This release positions Bitwarden at the forefront of empowering AI assistants to access, generate, retrieve, and manage credentials while preserving zero-knowledge, end-to-end encryption through a local-first architecture. Local-first architecture for security The Bitwarden MCP server operates on a user’s local machine, keeping all client interactions within the local environment and minimizing exposure to external threats. The MCP server integrates with the Bitwarden Command Line Interface (CLI), a secure infrastructure for managing Bitwarden vault operations from the command prompt. Users may also choose…
Parts 1 and 2 of this series focussed on the technical aspect of improving the experimentation process. This started with rethinking how code is created, stored and used, and ended with utilising large scale parallelization to cut down the time taken to run experiments. This article takes a step back from the implementation details and instead takes a wider look at how / why we experiment, and how we can reduce the time of value of our projects by being smarter about experimenting. Failing to plan is planning to fail Starting on a new project is often a very exciting…
